SchoolConnects' highly flexible interactive response capabilities enable you to invite immediate responses to your telephone messages and conduct comprehensive surveys. Questions can be structured intelligently based on participant responses. Participants need not be asked questions that are irrelevant or inappropriate for them based on previous responses. This reduces the time to finish a survey and results in a higher completion rate. Responses can be accepted through the telephone keypad input or a voice message. Keypad input can be easily tabulated or exported for statistical analysis. User-friendly tools are available to help you retrieve voice messages left by survey participants and transcribe them for reporting.

| Student attendance notices with incident-specific information |
| SchoolConnects can import attendance data from your Student Information Management System and automatically call and/or email parents and guardians to notify them of student absences. It conveys information specific to each absence incident, including the date of absence and periods missed. Conveying incident-specific information greatly reduces phone calls from parents who require clarification. SchoolConnects can also ask parents to indicate the reason for the absences using the telephone keypad or by leaving a voice message. In situations where certain students routinely intercept the messages, PIN numbers can be given to the parents to let them authenticate receipt of the messages. |

| Interfacing with other school systems |
| SchoolConnects can readily exchange data with other systems used by schools. It can work with all systems that are capable of importing and exporting ASCII text files. In addition, Synrevoice works closely with many software vendors serving the K-12 education community for seamless integration with their products, allowing the complete automation of routine data transfer. We are committed to supporting the School Interoperability Framework. Standard interfaces for popular student information systems, electronic gradebook and other software commonly used by K-12 educators are available. | The web-browser-based "thin client" user interface allows users to access SchoolConnects from anywhere over the Internet or intranet. For example, a teacher who has forgotten to make an important announcement regarding the next class need not worry. With only a few mouse clicks on the teacher's computer in the classroom or at home, a message can be sent to all students. Users can also pre-configure their message recipients once and use the telephone over and over again to record and launch messages. |
