We use School Connects Daily for attendance calls home.
We also use it for our early dismissals, delayed starts, and closures
due to weather. We also will use it to call home to remind parents of important meetings
and events such as career nights, financial aide meetings, etc.
I like the convenience of the on-line feature. It is very user-friendly
and I like being able to choose the parties that need to receive the
call by simply checking their boxes.

Humberview Secondary School has used SchoolConnects to conduct a telephone survey of our parents regarding the effectiveness of Humberview Secondary School's various methods of communicating with them. The results were truly amazing. Over 48% of the families at our school participated and all but a few answered all the questions in the survey. The participation rate for our paper surveys in previous years was less than 10%. The survey results also revealed that SchoolConnects is our most effective tool for two-way communication with parents. 85 percent of the participants felt that conducting surveys using SchoolConnects is an effective way to gauge their opinion! As well, SchoolConnects has been used regularly to keep parents and students apprised of up-coming events and activities in, and around the school and the community - truly a modern-day communications method.
